Chemical Peels

FALL is the perfect time to peel…….Falling temperatures are the perfect time to start thinking about repairing damaged skin from the summer. Maybe you had a little too much sun or you just want to get your skin glowing and ready for the Holidays. Now, I know “chemical peels” may sound scary especially with the thought of chemicals on your face, but they are safe and effective and can give you the results you are looking for.

There are many varieties of chemical peels: superficial, medium depth and deep. Superficial peels penetrate into the upper layers of the skin called the epidermis, removing old skin cells from the surface. Peels are typically made of either glycolic or a salicylic acid. These peels are recommended for “surface” problems such as rough texture, skin dullness, excessive oil and fine lines.

Our focus today will be on the PERFECT PEEL. This is a medium depth peel with key ingredients such as TCA, Retinoic, Salicylic and Kojic Acids, Phenol, Glutathione and Vitamin C. It is safe and effective for all skin types and skin ethnicities.

The Perfect Peel is virtual painless with little down time. Will your skin peel? Typically, yes. As the skin begins to repair itself, there may be 3-7 days that the skin will be red and go through a process of shedding the old cells and uncovering fresh, brand new skin!

The Perfect Peel Can Help:

  • Lighten and brighten your skin
  • Improve the overall tone and texture of your skin
  • Reduce or eliminate hyperpigmentation and acne scars
  • Improve acne skin conditions and melasma
  • Remove or reduce sun damage and age spots
  • Reduce pore sizes
  • Soften fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stimulate the production of collagen and elastin for firmer younger looking skin.

The Perfect Peel comes in three levels – Basic, Plus and Plus, Plus.

You get a “deeper” peel with a Perfect Peel PLUS Booster. This peel may be more effective for patients with resistant skin or stubborn Hyper Pigmentation and Melasma.

And, if you need an even stronger peel, there is the Perfect Peel PLUS, PLUS Booster. This level is perfect for skin that is oily, thick or resistant and highly effective for stubborn hyperpigmentation.
