Cherry moles, medically known as cherry angiomas, are often bright red, circular or oval in shape and small. They may appear smooth and even with the skin or slightly raised. They most often grow on the torso, arms, and shoulders. The cause of cherry angiomas is unclear, though some studies show they might be linked to climate, pregnancy, aging, and exposure to chemicals.
