What is Semi Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup, also referred to as Cosmetic Tattoo, involves the technique of implanting pigment into the skin to create a variety of cosmetic effects such as realistic hair strokes, soft powder “pixilated” brows and more naturally defined lips.

How long does pigment it last?

Permanent makeup is considered semi-permanent; therefore, it depends on many factors such as your skin type and lifestyle. Typically, pigment can last for 1 – 3 years. Lighter colors tend to fade faster than darker colors.  To maintain your permanent makeup, touchups are highly recommended every 9 months to 2 years.

Does it hurt?

Pain sensitivity does vary from person to person. A strong topical anesthetic is used to numb before and during the procedure for your comfort.

How long does Microblading take?

Appointments are booked for 3 hours with treatment time typically lasting 2 to 2.5 hours. Color and shape will be discussed. Numbing is taking place. Your treatment will be mapped out creating your desired goal and results. Aftercare instructions will be discussed.

What if I’ve had previous work done by another artist?

A consult is required prior to booking an appointment. Corrective or previous work can be tricky. Corrective work results are not guaranteed and should be kept realistic. The current state of your brows and understating your expectations will help achieve the desired result.

Why and how often will I need a touchup?

Everyone’s skin is unique and so results vary! To keep the desired look touchups are necessary every 8 months to 2 years.
